Our Valued Team
We always believed that people form the very essence of our business. It is their mindset that makes them so unique and valuable. We are proud to involve a diverse range of local individuals into our family, including 250 dedicated employees & workers, 300 farmers members of our PO, experienced managers, all powering through challenges. Our business culture fosters seemless communication, flexibility, fast decision making, and sustainable practices in every way, but most of all spreads the passion and love for the fruit industry.
A man with a vision
It all started in a man with a vision. He saw how traditional farming was completely in harmony with nature, giving and receiving from the earth, bringing the best flavours and healthy nutrition to our plates while preserving the beautiful countryside around us. His vision was to bring these values to modern, commercial fruit production.
So – how to achieve this? From a small rural school in Northern Greece, studying hard, he achieved entry to one of the best universities in Italy for agricultural studies, gained qualifications, travelled the world like a modern day Odysseus, researching and working in different farming situations. And brought his knowledge back home to share in his community and begin to encourage farmers to follow methods which would enable their produce to reach the highest standards, enjoyed at the tables of the most demanding customers all over the world. He brought the best assurance methods and advanced systems, recognised by the European Union. He brought together a small group of farmers, talked to them of the value of working together, and created the first Producer Organization (PO) in Greece.

In these challenging times, we take pride in our ability to support and retain our dedicated farmers- members of our PO within the agricultural sector, despite the numerous obstacles posed by factors such as climate change. By providing them with sustainable new varieties of grapes and yellow kiwifruits, we have not only enabled them to adapt to changing conditions, but also empowered them to increase their income and transform into true entrepreneurs.

Spanos
Sotos Siganos is a founding member and a proud grower. Along with his brother and son are growing some of the finest kiwifruit which are delivered in some of the most demanding markets across the globe.
Yiannis, the youngest member of the Strimpas family, assumed control of the family land several years ago. As a youthful farmer, he eagerly experiments with new varieties recommended by ZEUS expert team.
